Wolf Moon

haiku sonnet
The moon is silver,
reprieve from the golden sun,
the snow is heavy.
Wolf moon bites back with
playful teeth, January
night, silent and still.
In her smoke-ticked fur
dreams stand solitary as
burrs — stuck, protected.
