Maybe she is totally right,

We cannot do this anymore.

She’s not the girl I once fell for

And once looked at with all delight.

We had today a huge tart fight,

That now feels like an old cold war.

Maybe she is totally right,

We cannot do this anymore.

Mascara on, skirt tied tight,

Her blue jacket hung by the door.

I know exactly that I swore,

But I’d love she’d come by tonight.

Maybe she is totally right.
